HOW TO ORDER STATIONERY

How do I place a wedding stationery order?
Browse the website and select your favourite design.

When ordering your wedding invitations please email us the text you require on your stationery. We will need to know the bride and grooms names, the date of wedding, location, time of event, after ceremony details and RSVP requirements. If you would like the text altered from that shown on the samples please provide us with your preferred text. For example, we can change ‘together with their families’ to ‘together with their parents’.

A digital proof will be emailed to you within 7-10 working days. We are committed to working with you until you are completely happy with your design.

How do I get in touch?
If you want to get in touch, please email wivenhoedesignstudio@outlook.com and we will aim to get back to you within 3-4 working days.

How do I pay for my order?

All orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid once you have signed off the artwork, before the files are sent to the printers. Payment is via bank transfer.

Do you design bespoke wedding stationery?
Yes. If you have an idea in mind, email it over and we can have a chat.

What is your returns policy?
We can not accept returns as our wedding invitations and stationery items are personalised for you.  We are happy to correct and reprint any errors made on the part of Wivenhoe Design Studio as quickly as possible and will send any re-printed stationery out quickly and efficiently.

What about refunds?
If you need to cancel your order, you have 24 hours once your invoice has been paid, you will receive a full refund. After 24 hours your order will not be refunded. It will be designed and sent to you for approval.

I would like a custom design. Is this something you can offer?
Yes, we can! If you can’t find that perfect design, we can create a custom wedding invitation that perfectly reflect you and your big day. Please get in touch with us at Wivenhoe Design Studio to discuss your requirements. Please note that we are only able to accept a handful of custom design orders per year due to limited availability.

How many invitations should I order?
We suggest one per couple or family is fine. We do suggest that you order a few spare invitations - they are always handy!

I have received the proof but would like to make some changes. What should I do?
Please reply to the email you received with your changes and we’ll send another proof out to you within 24 hours.

What should I check on my proofs?
It’s very important that you check your proofs very carefully. Once you have given final approval additional changes can not be made. Wivenhoe Design Studio will not cover the cost of reprinting and postage costs due to any errors you have approved, nor will a refund be issued. We advise that you check the proofs on a computer.

I have approved my proof. How long will it take to receive my order?
Once the artwork has been approved we allow 5-7 working days for printing and postage of your order. We will update you by email once your order has been dispatched.

When should I send the Save the Dates?
They should be sent 12 months prior to your wedding.

When should I send my Wedding Invitations?
Ideally 5-8 months before your wedding. If you are planning on a wedding abroad, send your invitations 10-12 months before.

When should guests RSVP by?
Guests need to reply at least 8 weeks before the special day. Guest numbers will be needed by the venue, stationery supplier and other suppliers.

Should I include an RSVP card with my wedding invitations?
Yes! The additional effort and expense will be worth it, what's more, include an ‘RSVP’ by date. It helps to encourage guests to respond and gives you a reason to request a reply if you’ve not had a reply by your requested date! An ideal ‘reply date’ is about 8 weeks before the wedding.

RSVP’s also give you the opportunity to ask other information such as any special dietary requirements (you can even include meal choices), and song suggestions for the evening reception.

Should I include a wedding gift list with my invitations?
If you've like to include gift information, add this to the guest information card which can be sent with the invitation.
